A presentation by Juliet Wanjiku from the Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System for East and Central Africa (ReSAKSS-ECA), shows that effective tracking of informal cross-border trade through accurate trade data collection and its management will enhance greater food security, and also lead to effective formulation and implementation of domestic and regional trade policies among the Eastern and southern Africa countries.

The International Water Management Institute for Southern Africa (IWMI-SA) through the Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support Systems for Southern Africa (ReSAKSS-SA) in collaboration with the Swaziland Ministry of Agriculture and the Economic Development Commission for Southern Africa (EDC-SA) hosted the first Swaziland Agriculture Joint Sector Review Assessment Validation workshop. The workshop was held at Sibane hotel, Swaziland, on 21-22 May 2015.

The Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System for Southern Africa (ReSAKSS-SA), facilitated by the International Water Management Institute – Southern Africa Office (IWMI-SA), convened the 8^th Regional Methodology Workshop on March 19–20, 2015, at the O. R. Tambo Garden Court Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System - Southern Africa (ReSAKSS-SA) facilitated by the International Water management Institute - Southern Africa Office (IWMI-SA) launched the Joint Sector Review (JSR) at the Mphophoma Training Centre, Swaziland, on March 18, 2015. The launch was attended by high profile representatives from the Swaziland government, including the Hon. Moses Vilakati, Minister of Agriculture, and Robert Thwala, Principal Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture.

The ReSAKSS- Southern Africa team facilitated by the International Water Management Institute participated at the ReSAKSS 2014 Annual conference which was held in Ethiopia Addis Ababa from 08 – 10 October 2014, under the theme “Promoting Agricultural Trade to enhance resilience".
