The 2009 African Economic Conference Scheduled for November 11-13, 2009 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

aedThe 2009 AEC will hold in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from November 11-13, 2009, and will consist of plenary and parallel (break-out) sessions.

The plenary speakers are outstanding scholars in various fields of economics as well as high-level policy-makers in member state governments. Parallel sessions will be based on submitted papers.

The AEC was inaugurated in Nov 2006 by the African Development Bank (AfDB). Since 2007, it has been co-organized by the AfDB and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.
