On January 6-7, 2009, the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), and the World Bank met in Dakar, Senegal to align their efforts toward the development of agricultural policies and knowledge systems in support of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP).
