In August 22-23 2013, ReSAKSS-SA hosted its 5th methodology workshop for the preparation of 2013 Annual Trends and Outlook Report (ATOR). Stakeholders and trade policy experts from 15 countries of Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region participated in the workshop.

On 31^st July and 1^st August 2012, the ReSAKSS coordinators had a meeting in Addis Ababa to finalize the methodology for undertaking capacity needs assessment for establishing and strengthening SAKSS nodes under the CAADP agenda.

Mbaye Yade, the regional coordinator of ReSAKSS-WA, participated in the ECOWAS/WAEMU high-level meeting on food and nutrition crisis in Lomé, Togo on June 4-5, 2012. Missions were fielded to Tanzania in June and July to organize a dissemination workshop for the 2011 ReSAKSS Annual Trends and Outlook Report and the discussion of the creation of a Tanzania country-SAKSS node.  The dissemination conference was attended by both generators of productivity statistics and users of productivity statistics as well as monitoring and evaluation specialists.
