Africa Progress Report 2010: From Agenda to Action
Fri, 06/04/2010

The Africa Progress Panel's 2010 Progress Report is titled "From Agenda to Action: Turning Resources into Results for People."  The report's findings fall into four categories--sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction, social progress, political leadership and governance, and partnership opportunities--with recommendations for enhancing the role of women in each of these development areas.  The prioritization of agricultural investment and implementation of CAADP compacts inform one of the report's key recommendations.  In addition, the report includes discussions of food security, climate change, and overseas development assistance.
