CAADP Donors and Partners Meeting Held on September 6-9, 2009

The CAADP Donors and Partners Meeting took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from September 6th to 9th, 2009. The discussions took place over four consecutive days and focused on reviewing CAADP progress and agreeing on a donor approach to supporting CAADP. Outputs of the meeting include guidelines for donor support to countries implementing CAADP and a joint statement from development partners on support for pre- and post-CAADP compact activities.

ReSAKSS coordinators participated in the meeting during the review of CAADP progress and agricultural spending. The ReSAKSS presentation is available for download here. The IFPRI’s Director for Africa also prepared a comprehensive background report of the CAADP agenda for the meeting.
