CAADP Partnership Platform (PP) meetings are held every six months for collective multi-partner peer review of the CAADP implementation process and to highlight emerging issues and lessons. The fourth CAADP PP, which took place in South Africa on March 26 and 27, 2009, focused on the operationalization of the CAADP Multi-Donor Trust Fund, preparations for the upcoming AU Ministers of Agriculture Conference and the African Heads of State Summit on Agriculture and Food Security, and the links between CAADP activities and global deliberations on agriculture and food security.

At the platform meeting, a ReSAKSS representative made a presentation on “Knowledge and Information Support in CAADP Implementation” highlighting recent efforts such as the M&E operationalization, the new ReSAKSS website, and the comprehensive coordinated effort of ReSAKSS to provide policy related information and fill knowledge gaps for key decision makers in government, the private sector and civil society to support and implement the CAADP agenda.
