This brief highlights the performance of partner states from the East African Community (EAC) region in the second BR and assesses challenges faced and lessons learned by the region. The brief also reviews policy and programmatic changes in the EAC region induced by the first BR and concludes by highlighting required policy actions for the region to meet the Malabo commitments by 2025.
