The Gambia Validates GAFSP Proposal

A one-day validation workshop for a proposal for the Global Agricultural and Food Security Programme (GAFSP) was held yesterday at the Kairaba Beach Hotel.

The proposal followed a long and painstaking efforts of putting together The Gambia National Agricultural Investment Programme (GNAIP), the country's Comprehensive Africa Agricultural Development Programme (CAADP) compact that was signed by stakeholders and development partners in November last year and funded by Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
